Elmwood Park Homeowners Association Officers Dorene, Mayme and Lori flew down in November 2001 to visit Fran and do some heavy duty shopping at Myrtle Beach, SC. After several days of shopping and a relaxing stay at a major new hotel (penthouse suite, no less) it was off to Florence to sample some of Dave's pulled pork sandwiches and famous baked beans. After a restful night, the girls were off again to Charleston, SC to test their stamina against all the shops there. After a full day, the return trip was a sleepy affair with only the driver half-awake! Again, Dave was at his finest serving a special pasta dish accompanied by grilled garlic shrimp. After a few glasses of wine the girls opted for a refreshing walk to one of the several lakes located nearby. All too soon, it was time to say goodbye....a great time was had by all!
